SQL/BI Specialist at ALBA - The American College of Greece
Core Responsibilities

Responsible for the design, development, and support of Business Intelligence solutions in Microsoft BI stack.
Designs and develops new SQL Server Functionality, including OLAP cubes, Tabular Models, SSIS, and reporting through SSRS, PowerView, PowerPivot.
Works with business users to gather and understand requirements, rules and processes, identify Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and high-level reporting metrics.
Designs and maintains reporting solutions that support user interactivity and increase user acceptance of BI tools.
Define, design and implement logical and physical data models.
Identify opportunities to optimize performance of existing data structures.
May be required to perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in IT related field.
Experience working with databases (SQL Server 2000 & SQL Server 2008 & SQL Server 2012)
Ability to design, implement and maintain databases.
Ability to build and execute complicated SQL queries & views.
Ability to develop and debug complicated stored procedures and triggers.
Ability to administer (backup, restore, optimize) SQL databases.
Experience working with the Microsoft Business Intelligence stack:
Create and maintain ETL flows with SQL Server Integration Services.
Create and maintain OLAP cubes with SQL Server Analysis Services.
Knowledge of Excel 2013 PowerPivot & PowerQuery.
Various skills:
 Familiarity with CRM concepts.
 Familiarity with Visual Studio and C# language.
Other skills:

Teamwork.
Customer service.
Goal orientation.
Excellent command of Greek and English languages.
At least 5 years of working experience at a relevant position.
